Curtis Institute High School Summer Music Program

Sharpen your musical skills and be part of the Curtis Institute High School Summer Music Program in partnership with Julian Krinsky Camps and Programs. Open to all high school musicians, this is an exciting three-week classical music program offering chamber orchestra rehearsals, chamber music rehearsals, private instruction and sectional coachings—right on Curtis’s campus and new state-of-the-art living and learning facility, Lenfest Hall. Sample conservatory-style living with a rigorous musical schedule and weekly performance opportunities that will enhance your technical and musical abilities.

Select spots are still available in each section. Register by April 30 and receive 50 percent off of your registration fee. Follow the link below to the Julian Krinsky Camps and Programs website to submit your registration.

High school students who have received individual instruction on their instruments for at least one year will greatly benefit from musically-rewarding schedule. Once on campus, students will dive into placement auditions and ensemble assignments. The first week will continue with insight into rehearsal techniques and individual practice tips. During weeks two and three, students will prepare for weekend recitals.

Experience state-of-the-art acoustics in the classrooms, studios, and practice rooms of newly opened Lenfest Hall. With bright, open community spaces and sound-insulated areas for music-making, Lenfest Hall provides an ideal setting for musicians to play and study.

Summer residents at Lenfest Hall will enjoy the benefits of modern, clean, air-conditioned spaces and meals cooked fresh daily in the new Dining Hall. Have a food allergy, sensitivity, or otherwise restricted diet? With advance notice, meals can be prepared to accommodate your needs.
